Jennifer Lawrence’s collection of bags can make anyone envious: those who admire the Olsens would love to get their hands on her Margaux collection from The Row, or perhaps “borrow” her Hermès Bolide, while the maximalists among us are surely attracted to her more expressive choices like her Fendi zebra backpack and her Dior Dracula book tote.
But today, Lawrence outdid herself when it comes to making a statement with her bag.
The actress was bundled up in earth-toned layers for a stroll in New York City, wearing a luxurious, chocolate brown coat with mushroom brown pants and off-white Salomon Marie-Jeannes. And while Lawrence could have easily completed the look with one of her many, many understated luxury It-bags (her black Kelly, her Loewe Puzzle, her Phoebe Philo Gig bag…shall we continue?), she decided to surprise us. Instead, she opted for a boxy Prada Galleria with a leopard-print body adorned with a turquoise ostrich leather top handle, and red ostrich leather details.
The actress has been crushing the accessories scene lately. Whether she’s wearing a playful baseball cap, fashion’s favorite flip-flops, or—as in this case—an eye-catching bag, Jennifer Lawrence understands that the right accessory can make any outfit stand out.
