If there’s something we will anticipate from the Wes Anderson Cinematic Universe, it’s that every part shall be stunning. Famously devoted to aesthetics, no element is simply too small for the director. For his newest movie, The Phoenician Scheme (which premiered yesterday on the 2025 Cannes Movie Competition), Anderson tapped Cartier to style one of the crucial recurring props: a rosary.

Anderson’s twelfth directorial enterprise follows a rich, embattled businessman, Zsa-zsa Korta (Benicio del Toro), who designates his solely daughter, Liesl (Mia Threapleton), because the inheritor to his property. Liesl, a nun, is sort of all the time pictured with the rosary wrapped round her hand.
