Get ready! The premiere fashions for The Devil Wears Prada 2 have commenced.
Before the movie hits theaters on May 1st, celebrities like Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci will be walking the red carpet to promote it—which means you can anticipate numerous memorable fashion moments from around the globe in the upcoming weeks.
Naturally, expectations are high for the sequel, which debuts 20 years following the original. As per the synopsis, it follows “Miranda Priestly as she manages her career amidst the downturn of conventional magazine publishing and confronts Blunt’s persona, Emily Charlton—now a powerful executive at an upscale corporation with advertising funds that Priestly urgently requires.”
For the initial press tour stop in Mexico City, Streep appeared dressed in a red Dolce & Gabbana suit, while Anne Hathaway selected a fringed Schiaparelli gown with a sculptural gold belt. For a late-night show on The Stephen Colbert Show, Streep donned a bespoke cerulean J.Crew sweater. (Indeed, not turquoise or lapis—cerulean.)
In Tokyo, the ensembles kept coming. Streep stepped out in new Matthieu Blazy-era Chanel, while Anne Hathaway chose Valentino haute couture, from the spring 2026 line. In Seoul, Streep wore a red Prada suit (the devil does wear Prada), while Hathaway put on a red leather Balenciaga two-piece suit.
